What we collect

The enquiry form on this website collects your name, your email address, an optional description of yourself, and your message. Nothing else is collected, and there is no other form on the site.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is used to reply to you and to arrange a conversation if there is one to have. It is not used for marketing, it is not added to a mailing list, and it is not used to build a profile of you.

The enquiry is delivered by email through Resend, which processes it on our behalf under a data processing agreement in order to send it. We do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. When you first visit, you are asked whether to allow it. Until you accept, no analytics cookie is stored on your device and Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode that sets no cookies.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that distinguish returning visitors, kept for up to two years. Google processes this data on our behalf. We do not use advertising features, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Your choice is stored in your browser so you are not asked on every page. You can change it at any time through "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page; declining removes the analytics cookies.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Your rights over your information

For the enquiry form, the lawful basis is that handling your message is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where you write to ask something rather than to enquire about working together, the basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.

Enquiries are kept only for as long as there is a reason to keep them: to reply, to arrange a conversation, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. They are deleted once that reason has passed.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Making any of these requests is free, and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.
